Support
BHA (The Black Health Agency) has been commissioned by the Greater Manchester Hepatitis C Strategy to set up self help support services for people with hepatitis C throughout Greater Manchester. BHA are in the process of liaising with existing groups and identifying where there is need for a support network or group. If you are interested in getting involved or would like to talk about your experience or needs BHA would be very happy to hear from you.
For queries or more information, please contact Shabana Baig or Angela Mason at BHA on 0845 450 4247 or visit www.blackhealthagency.org.uk

“ Meeting other people who’d also got hepatitis C was invaluable and really helped me. No-one judged me on how I got the virus and I was able to ask questions, talk to people going through treatment and generally get a lot of support to help me deal with my condition.”
